"A Must See 3D For Everyone"

That's the tagline for the movie 'Monsters VS Aliens' that is recently showing the 3D version in cinemas.



I have this perception that this kinda movie always favor the kids where there is always a happy ending, nobody dies, predictable. So basically, I'm not really interested to watch it.


Few days before, my brother has 4 free tickets for this movie in 3D version and my sister was interested in it, so that makes them lack of one person to fill up the empty seat. I'm thinking since it's free and I am missing the GSC popcorn so darn much, I'm in.


Okay, another perception on this movie. 3D version..... What I've always picture about this kinda movie is this......... (the pic below)



Okay, I know this is before wearing the paper red and green 3D glasses. It is normal for it to look 'ugly'. Even if we put those glasses on, it's making the whole movie to turn into red and green hue. It does looks 3D but, it does not brings comfort to the eyes at all. In fact, I have always felt dizzy if I'm watching it. I'm guessing some you felt that too before right?


So, this time, it's the popcorn that tempts me. Not the movie at all.... I think I will just enjoy my fattening snacks in the cinema rather than the movie.


Before we depart to Mid Valley, my sister got this 'emergency' that she has to give up the seat. My brother was a little upset and he kept complaining how hard it is to get the tix, and FYI, the tix for the 3D movie is RM17. With all the complains from my bro.... the whole journey kinda makes me wanted to give up my popcorn and just stay at home. But I still drag my ass to the cinema. Gotta keep my promise!


Before entering the cinema, the staff gave us this:

I was like: Eh, they upgraded the design of the glasses? Cool.





I tell you..... It was waaaaaaaay beyond cool.


The movie hasn't start and there's ads showing.


My bro was like: 'Hey! Wear your glasses already! You can look through it now.....'

Me: 'You sure? It doesn't look like I can put them on yet wor.....' (The clips were not the in the red and green hue yet.)

Bro: 'Can d.... Just wear it, trust me.'




So, I wear la. I remember it was a thriller of another animation movie coming soon, something like the people with black buttons sewed on their eyes. Ah whatever. Okay as I was saying, I put on the glasses and..... WOW. Mind blowing! Like.... Gosh, the words and the things, they were like appearing exactly in front of me! It's like I can just stretch my hand and touch the words! Literally 3d!


Okay, and then the movie starts. The fist scene was someone has his feet on the desk and his hand was holding this ping pong bat that has a ping pong ball attached to it. And he was hitting the ball so the ball is like bouncing towards us, the audience. My brother's gf was sitting next to me and I remembered vividly that she has reflexes because the ball was like moving towards us! Like it's going to hit us! (Actually I did 'avoid' the ball a lil bit. Haha.) And I have this feeling that everyone in the cinema did reacted to the scene, avoid it like we did or what...... And then, everyone in the cinema started to laugh and I heard some wow-ed voices. Eh real k, I did not exaggerate! Kid you not!


This movie... well, like I said, too predictable as it is for the kids. But the whole 3D experience was simply amazing and I was really fascinated by it. If I have to pay RM17 for it, it was completely worth it.

What a coincidence~

All right, yesterday my bloody kakak cooked nasi lemak for lunch, sounds nice right? Sorry, that's the meal she'll cook whenever she's lazy or in a rush or out of dish for cooking. So mom suggested to go out for lunch, after fetching my bro from school, we came up with some options, at last my mom choose to go for set lunch which finally lead us to our so call 'coffee house' (wonder why we used to call it coffee house rather than panorama when we were young). And the menu there has changed, obviously is quite new and there is more varieties, just took a glance on the front page, is something like a photo taken in front of panorama if i'm not mistaken. When we reach home after lunch, i found a stupid 'thing' on the cabinet, ok, let me show it to you and i leave it to you to decide whether is it stupid or not~

Ho hey! I just discovered something few days ago that some of you might already know.

How come I didn't blog about this when I watched it last week? Ooooooo... right.... I was bloody damn busy with the bloody damned assignments.

So, I went and watched 'Sell Out!' with Kah Yee. I gotta say.... it's really kinda worth the watch. Of cause it's not gonna be like the blockbusters movies type of good, as it is just an indie movie by Malaysian.

The movie is definitely not making sense in terms of the story line. It's not realistic and FYI, it's a musical movie where they act act act.. then suddenly out of nowhere they start to sing! But the thing is... it's interesting to watch! The lyrics are funny and we actually like some of the songs in it. Oh if you ask me.. High School Musical or Sell Out? Definitely Sell Out!




This main actor here- Peter Davis, gosh... he's handsome la. But the thing is.. when he speaks, he has this British accent that actually makes him not really suits the movie because.. duh... it's a Malaysian movie! For the movie's sake!! Why don't they choose someone whose more Malaysian than this one? BUT, he's still nice to watch. Hehe. Thank God he was gifted a good looking face.



See the pic, there's a lil' girl standing behind? She's actually sneezing. Cute! HAHA. Okay, this is the lead actress. This girl can act! Oh wait, she can sing too!! Double the talent baybeh! Oh... the guy above can't sing, but somehow he sounded okay in the songs.



These two uncles are funny. But the one with shorter hair, he smokes throughout the whole movie! Ui uncle, May 31st, non-smoking day. Kambateh ha!



Don't ask me about sypnosis cuz I have no idea how to verbally tell you guys. Don't know why either. Hmmm.. but it's like one guy, he's like so kesian.. kena bully. Then one girl, she was trying hard to save her career. Yea, something like that.



Tell you guys what.... I LOVE this pic a lot! I think this is really a good shot! No wonder they make it as the movie's poster. Everyone's in the mood for this shot! Great one. :)


For the sake of supporting Malaysian film, watch it, it's recommended. It's interesting anyhow. From my point of view la..... :) Oh gosh.... I guess I was kinda late to recommend this movie since it's been showing for awhile in the cinema already.



Oh have I mention, there's one part in the movie that you can actually sing karaoke? Well, at least I did try to sing, in the cinema. Hehe. :Þ

Went to the program office and took my UniSA ID. Well, just have a look at it guys.....




See or not? I damn semangat with my Renjer Puteri man! IN CASE you didn't know what the heck is Renjer Puteri, it's actually one of the uniform units for the ko-kurrikulum (wow, can't believe I can still spell this word) back in secondary school. We do the scouts' thing you know.... kinda similar.

Grr... actually I very geram wan la! Why the heck are all my IDs' pictures sucked? This one is a total joke. Renjer pic... Lawak. See the expiry date? For heck's sake, 2012! I have to keep this bloody ID in my wallet for that long. Wanna ask for popi also cannot d!

How do I end up with this joker pic as my ID? It's actually because when I wanted to register for my degree studies earlier this year, I was too lazy to get a new pic. Found this, and I thought... hmm, just for registration, no prob! Cis.

There, the lesson I've learnt for not to always have own assumption and not to be too lazy! (but I will always be, can't fix that)

Numerology

Numerology. The current topic in my house. My second brother, sister and her boy friend went for this numerology talk last weekend. Well, it's about... okay wait... lemme just copy paste the definition from wikipedia.

Numerology is any of many systems, traditions or beliefs in a mystical or esoteric relationship between numbers and physical objects or living things.

Got it? So basically there's a method to calculate your birth date and there's a guidebook to explain all the numbers and whatever things you get from the calculation la. It's complicated.... That's what I roughly understood. And Paul was kind enough to calculate it for me. I gotta say...... It's pretty....... accurate? Well, not to say the future stuff of cause, who would know about that.... I meant the personality and some other present stuff. The book explained kinda specific and detailed.

Okay, lemme tell you some of the prediction of my future. Bloody heck..... when Paul reads the whole thing to me, I think I heard a total of 4 or 5 times of stressful in different categories, something related to my future working field would be stressful, my life would be stressful, I have the criteria of leadership but it will be stressful.... bla bla bla... stressful.. bla bla bla STRESSFUL. What the hell?

And then there's this crap, actually it's a fact, I'm just..... Can I not admit it? Although it's the bloody truth, I know! But..... argh. Okay, it's not crap. It's the dislikable fact.

Okay, let's start the whole thing again.

And then there's this FACT, about my health... My number is actually indicating I can only either be over-weight or under-weight. Damn it. Know what Kah Yee told me when she heard about it? 'Eh, you go pia for the under-weight wan then.' Waaaaaa~~ not a bad idea huh?!! Heck. What the hell????

Hmmm... what else.... I forget already la. These are the memorables ones. Oh remember I wrote about my life being pathetic and I got nothing to blog about? Well..... look how much is this numerology thing makes my life so much moreeeeeeeeeeeeee pathetic! HOORAY. Dang. Bye!
