Love-Stoned Acoustic

Ya, I gotta admit... sometimes I enjoy pop songs too. If you're close to me.. you'll know why. It makes me enjoy my drive... Have fun with my friends while singing it together.

So, Justin Timberlake's Love Stoned has always be one of my favorite because the interlude is super awesome! I love it very much. Everytime I listen to a nice song, I prefer to listen to it using headphones because that's when you get to listen to every detail, major and minor sounds of the song.

Actually I just wanna show you guys this acoustic version of Love Stoned by some band from iTune. It's amazing to see that with just guitar at the front part, and bass and piano added at the end.. they can make it sound so friggin' good.

Enjoy!

Watch the guitarist's finger around 0:24, gosh that was fast!

I went to Hard Rock Cafe for company dinner on Thursday night. It was super awesome!

My boss- Miss Lim, is super nice okay.... One day during our staff meeting, she just like:' Arrange a dinner next week. Pick any place that you guys like.' Our manager, Bee:' The purpose?' My boss:' Hmm... anything la. To celebrate birthdays....' The colleagues' birthdays were actually like one month ago or weeks ago.

My second boss, Issa wanted a place where she can smoke, we can get drunk and we all can rock and roll!

Hard Rock Cafe that is!

Ahem! Time to introduce Epitome Communications (formerly known as Pan-Asia Concepts) company's lovely staff! They all were kinda crazy too.

*Pardon me for all the blur pics cuz I was using my phone to snap*

Miss Lim, the 'all-buck-stops-right-here' boss on the right.
Bee, the manager on the left, she's the only person in my whole life that always speaks Hokkien with me.

Issa- my second hot mama boss. She have two kids okay! Still looks damn fit. Loves to rock and roll.
Paul- drummer for the band Y2K, designer for the company, rocking dood! But he got some weird accent in English, it's what they called the Aussie accent, cuz that's where he was brought up.

Cindy, who looks like my age, but she's already 30! The scariest part is... she found my blog! Don't know how she found out my blog add. Hi Cindy! Reading my blog ah? Haha!

Fred- the youngest layout and design director I've ever known, he's 22. Speaks Hokkien, Mandarin, Cantonese, Malay, English and BAHASA INDON fluently. Ya, he's Indon. I thought he's Malaysian at first.

Vaanan. Aiya, no need intro d la.
Another new staff beside Vaanan, Zev. Sounds like gif. image eh? Ou, he talks a lot.

The Rock Chop- actually lamb chop la. The name fancy fancy only... haha!
My dinner! Yumm Yummmm~

When the time strikes 11pm..... oooh gosh... here come da PAAARtyyyyy~!!

Some band from Thailand... played good music!
They started of with Three Days Grace's Never Too Late... and then Red Hot Chillie Pepper, Amy Winehouse, Sarah Bareilles, Green Day.... and... I don't know!

Dang, after the Rehab song.. I gotta rush home to the LRT. Gotta catch the last train home!

Before I leave the place... I snapped this.
The view was simply awesome!

I had a marvelous time there. Had my lamb chop, hanging out with cool people, drank some beer, had my yummy brownies for dessert, enjoying the rock and roll band... Gosh, that was like what.... lifestyle of the rich and famous? Ha! Aight... I'm hoping for the second time. Owh, wish there's still the same band playing, cuz the vocalist dood sings well and... rocking hot cute! Huhu.

_______________________________________________________

Aight, here some random pics from my phone.

Few weeks ago, I went for the photo shoot for my company's Kidz magazine cover. So, I met a pair of siblings and I had a great time with 'em!! They're sooooooooooooo CUTE! Seriously!

Amir and Aishah. They're from mix parentage.

Amir wants to treat me to eat chicken rice back at his home.
Amir: Mom... can aunties come to my room? And eat chicken rice?
His mom: Yaaa... why not?
He seems serious about that. Haha!

Aishah, on the other hand... she loves to ask me questions. Tons of questions! But I love to answer them though... haha! Cuz she's cute. She likes to:' Jeeeeean, why are you here?' ' Jeeeeean, how old are you?' 'Jeeeeeeeeean, why are you not home with your mom?' 'Jeeeeeeeean, what do you like to eat?' 'Jeeeeeeeean.......... Jeeeeeeeean... Jeeeeeeeean...'

Gosh, I miss them!

Okay, here's another pic. I went to this lil' girl's house, to interview her cuz apparently she's the best young gymnast and best young Latin dancer in Malaysia.

Once I enter her house... Wow.... freaking nice man. The door is glass without grills. The Living room.... with the huge piano.... they got swimming pool! And their toilets were semi-outdoor toilet! How cool is that? It's like those house where we normally seen it in the interior house magazine.

Okay, here's the thing... have you ever seen this much of Astro decoder?

Five of 'em.
Crazy.

Aight, see you guys! Have a nice weekend!

\m/ booya!

An fashion disgraced aunty walking around in high class hotel.

Tell me I'm the best la.

This morning, I woke up, then was thinking what to wear. Then I thought:
Aiya, nothing special today, since working in office only, cing cai la.

Ou, if some of you haven't aware... My office is damn flexible. We are allowed to wear what you wanna wear, just something decent, of cause not hot pants la.

Then I wore what today you know? A very casual, longgar type of blouse, with knee length pants. And with what you know? With lady sandals.... cause.... I don't know, I just feel like wearing like an aunty today and be comfortable. Now that I think back, it's not comfortable at all, in fact, I really felt like an aunty. DANG.

Okay, I was at the office, then I checked out the fax letter that I received last week about an event me and Vaanan have to attend this week. I thought it was a day later or what, not today. Mana tau, ya... it's today. THANK GOD it was at the afternoon 3.30pm! Imagine it's in the morning! I would have miss it and whacked by my boss with her Indiana Jones hat on! (Ya, she actually owned that hat and walk around with that hat once.)

Then.... die lor! My attire totally sucked big time man. Then my colleagues were telling me it's okay because they didn't state the dress code. And you know where's the venue of the event?

KL Hilton

Dang! When I first reached there, I already felt I was under-dressed already! My first time there and the lobby.. damn nice man!

Okay, got up to level 6... In the lift, I was like: Oh! At least I have to apply lip gloss! Then I apply it.... until the lift open, I quickly hide my gloss and realized I put too much on! Aiya, don't care la.... Then jalan -jalan..... Ish, the hotel workers also wear super damn formal. Okay, I'm starting to become nervous. Oh.... there goes the PR people there.... okay, their dress code: black, formal. Okay... never mind. We registered, and I asked one of the lady there: Am I under-dressed? I'm so sorry.. I wasn't informed that we're suppose to wear formal. And she said: Oh! Don't worry about it, it's fine.

Okay lor... fine lor.... I walked in, found out all the other journalists wear formal okay? At least some smart casuals! Wah lau! I damn no life man. Eeeergh heeergh..... memalukan la me!!

So, that's it! I told Vaanan, I am not going to stand unless it's time to leave.

Yea, there... I humiliate myself again. Gosh!

Know what i watched yesterday or not?

DUYUNG.
(Notice the colour of the word Digi is exactly the one that I chose for Dance Quake?)

Normally we wouldn't be interested in watching Malay movies, due to the quality I think, we usually already had an assumption about the Malay movie.

But this one... I was 'recommended' by Joanne to watch. Somebody ask her to watch first actually.... so this DVD is going around now.

I gotta say.. actually... it was kinda okay la. That Saiful Apek pandai buat lawak la I think. And the Duyung, Maya Karin, pretty, and sometimes her Duyung swim is nice, sometimes seems a bit 'forcing'. But i thought Mermaids are suppose to have their 'fish body part' from legs up until hips only? And the breast are cover with seashells.... Like little Mermaid la. This one... the conservative version I guess.

But, why chose Saiful Apek la? He's funny I know, but he seems a bit scary la, sometimes looks a bit like.. pervert. Hehe. Rumors says that he takes dope though. He was so skinny.... That's why people relate him with that I think.

Ou, the scenery in the movie... damn nice. If I had a chance, I wanna holiday there!! Sabah beach if I'm not wrong. The sea is daaaaamn blue okay!

K la, I'm kinda dizzy right now, with running nose like waterfall coming out from my nose only. Sick. Argh.

Bye.

You read my previous post or not? Read ooooor noooooot??!!!!

I'm already fully prepared myself to attend the skating activity just now... And read the map of getting to the venue very carefully... Reached the place without any problem... Get in the shop.... And they tell me: Have to cancel the activity today because of the rain??!!!!

What da heeeeeck??! They have to reschedule the whole thing. Means i have to prepare myself again? NOOOOOOOOO WAAAAAAY! Dang!

Aihs. Fate. Dang. Dang. Dang.
Die liaaaooooo loooor..... Later I'm going to TTDI to do a review with my colleagues and bosses.

That's not what that is going to make me dieeeeee... it's da thing that we're going to do. The thing that i won't do in a million years okay!

SKATING ROLLER BLADESSS!!!

Die die die.... How am i suppose to do to escape this? What if i fall on my butt?

Then all my bones crash and i will not have an ass anymore! What if i landed with my arms? Then i break it? Blood splashes everywhere... then Vaanan saw it and starts to panic and falls too.. so are everybody else... then things starts to be chaos. Everybody else who skates starts to fall and break something as well. Some people starts to run.. da kids saw it, scream and cried out loud, then i also scream..... Then it happens that you were there too, and saw it and freak out too! Then run here.. scream there... blood here and there.

Ever watch Happy Tree Friends? No man.. i don't want to be like them man.....

And no, i don't want to be like this guy too.

Help! Fingers cross........

This post can only be understand by certain people.

Especially Taiping people. Sorry ah... cuz this happen so long time ago. You are allow to skip this post if you think Taiping stories are boring. (Actually they're not okay! Fareeza! I'm saying it to you!)

I was browsing through my old blog at friendster. And i ter-read this comment from my sista dood- Joanne Lim.... very very superly.... creatively....... stupid! Of cuz stupid in a positive way la, as in... the creative way. At least it proves that her left brain works damn well. I salute her to think such long crappy comment. But it was really creative though. And it was multi languages (english, mandarin and hokkien).

ou ou(hands up)!!! can i give my opinion? ok, i think...is that auntie,u noe? the auntie 'waw waw waw'... she's cooking a... a... a... black pepper crab with mayo and wasabi, then she didn't pay attention to the stuff but she keeps on looking at the camera and say 'waw waw waw' and and 'tai geh pun oh lo ho' and ur mom imitates her 'waw waw waw' and ur dad imitates ur mom's 'waw waw waw'...back to story...then the auntie's crab terbakar and burn the whole kitchen and then the dining room and the living room and the main door and then spread to her neighbour's house and then her neighbour's neighbour and her neighbour's neighbour's neighbour and at last, whole level kena...so, the auntie waw waw waw call up the fire department and said "waw waw waw~ wa eh chu tiok sio liao,wa eh neighbour eh chu pun tiok,wa eh neighbour eh neighbour pun tiok,wa eh neighbour eh neighbour eh neighbour pun tiok, kah liao pun tiok sio liao, kah kin lai ah,waw waw waw,tapi...lu mai ka hi leh 媒体 kong ah, ah bo wa eh 节目 bo lang kua liao~"...that's why after that no news or report about the incident, end of story!

p/s: this comment is only dedicated to this blog's poster and some serious person...YOU might not understand what the heck is all about, watever~

This is the creative writer: Joanne Lim.

IF you wanna know what exactly she was talking about... well... literally... CLICK HERE.

To Joanne:
I'm sure you'll feel how keng u are at that time too right? Ya, me too. And i miss you like hell man.. I'll see ya soon right?

Hugs and kisses!

Elu. Don't worry, it's not middle finger pointing at you. It's suppose to be a lala pose with da peace sign. And don't focus on my nose hole. Luckily it's clean hor?

Aaah... working.. working.. working.. for da whole week. Hardly get my rest well. That's why i wasn't blogging as much as i was before.

Last Thursday i was assigned to interview Melinda Looi (da local fashion designer) with one of my colleague. Oh gosh... was a damn great experience and i get to meet da whole family! Her babies are cute! Her husband was a guy from German. Their love story is called: Nokia Connects People. Ah, lazy to type here. It's interesting though. Ask me to tell you next time if you really wanna know. Hee.

I was really surprise to know that Melinda Looi actually knows how to write Chinese. Really cool, i still kept her chinese writing. Huhu.

Owh, da best thing is... i get to see her breast-feeding her lil baby daughter in front of us!

Owh owh owh...!! That's not da best part yet. Da best part was.... When her son, Maximilium (will be a handsome man when he grows up soon okay! Knows how to speak English, Malay, Mandarin, Cantonese and German! Crazy kid.) said:' Yeees....! hehe.' when his mom asked him:'Jie jie pretty or not?' *pointing at me* WAHAHAHAHA!!

Don't like that ah, let me happy for awhile can or not?! :Þ

_____________________________________________________________

Okay, Saturday was Paul's birthday. So my sis decided to ask us all to join their celebration at TGI Friday's The Curve.

Some of you might already know this.... Da Friday's people likes to have this 'birthday ceremony' whenever there's someone's birthday. (I kena before with Fareeza, sing Gimme More somemore. Dang!)

So, we wanted to give one surprise to Paul. He thought it will just be an ordinary birthday dinner... He was so damn wrong.

Glad to get a round table. Huhu.
Paul is da one with plain grey shirt with spec.
Together in da celebration is my sis, me, my second bro and my eldest bro with his gf.

While we're waiting for da Friday's people to come and give him that birthday surprise, we played some stupid games. We have this Martini Shrimp where all da shrimps were all eaten and what was left was a bit of vege and tomatoes and martini.

So, Paul and my second bro decided to play 'One Two Som!' (or some of you know it as one two jus.. or whatever..). Whoever loses must drink a sip of da Martini Shrimp. But to make it more geli-er, they added tobasco sos, chilie sos, tomato jus, chocolate cake, lime, strawberry milk shake and some things that i already forget.

'Martini Shrimp Plus'

'Martini Shrimp Plus' in process.

One... Two... SOM!

I gotta say.... i really really pity Paul. I think it's cuz of it's his birthday... he lost all da rounds! He never win the One Two Som! Swear! Kesian sial man....

See his face.... kesian. Birthday boy all da while kena only. See my sis' face.. lawak! Haha!
Gotta chew chew chew... Yum yum~

Since Paul kept on losing.. we decided to change the game.

This time... everyone's in except for my eldest bro. Sore throat he said... yea right~

So, we were playing this game where everyone has to say a number from 6 to 25. After that, everyone has to show their finger from 0-5. If the total sum of the fingers is the number that someone mentioned just now, then the fella loses la.

But again... Paul lost a lot of times! Kesian kesian kesian.... But after a few rounds, things were starting to look good for him. My sis lost one time.... Then i kena also.

You can tell how yucky da 'drink' is from my yucky face.

My second bro... finally he kena also. Hoho.

We played until we're bored and Paul kept on saying: 'Shall we leave now?' But da Friday's people were too busy to layan us. Dang! We kept talking craps... i kept lying that they have problem with da bill machine. But i think he sorta get what will happen later cuz a few tables around us did the birthday ceremony as well.

After a few million years.... finally.

He was asked to stand on da couch. He damn pandai... drag my sis to stand with him.
Gave some normal thank you speech and they were asked to kiss!
My sis aah... not sporting wan la... go cover with da stupid tisu on her hand when they kissed.

A: Waaah, he knows i'm snapping him ah. Dood, concentrate on your singing like your friends dood.... And he straightened his hair like mine. Dang.

B: These 2 fellas can sing really damn loud! Funny to see da guy in tie, wearing so smart but sing sooooo loud.

C: This guy very kesian... cuz he's da one that always kena rush from us. We kept on hurrying him to do da birthday ceremony and i think he was new so he's a bit panic. Hehe. I think he's glad like us when they finally do the birthday ceremony already.

D: See this girl... laugh till soooo happy. I think she's laughing cuz someone else also kena embarassed like her. Cuz before Paul, she kena already..

Okay, everything went good. So before we left there, we played one last round where da loser have to chew on this lime where we actually soak in the 'Martini Shrimp Plus' earlier and pour some tobasco sos on it again.

Mana tau... my bro's gf- Aiwei lost. Aaaah... luckily my bro gentleman enough to cover for her.

'Aaaargh~'

That's my story of da week. Huhu. Thanks for reading.

Before i say my bye.... See... My face shine in this pic man.

BYE.
